SOMEWHERE TO START FROM
In this anthology of 21 short stories, some published, some prizewinning, and some making their first appearance in print, an eclectic host of characters discover no matter where life takes them, it's only ever somewhere to start from. A lonely sales rep experiences a life-changing revelation, a retiring deity looks back on his achievements, and a concerned father struggles with his teenage daughter's growing independence. In other stories, an
underground hotel holds a terrifying secret, a student feels the sting of unrequited love, and Godzilla and King Kong argue over a pizza.
